Shuttle

Our shuttle bus is an 8-person van which transports our guests to and from the hostel. It takes approximately 10 minutes to travel from Amsterdam Holendrecht station to Lucky Lake. The shuttle costs €1 per person, per trip. The 1st pick-up is for free.

From Lucky Lake

The shuttle leaves Lucky Lake every hour, on the hour, to Amsterdam Holendrecht station. The first shuttle leaves the hostel at 8 am. From Amsterdam Holendrecht station, you can take a metro or train into the city. The metro runs approximately every 12 minutes, and takes 17 minutes to travel to Amsterdam Centraal station.

If you need to be in the city at a certain time, it is best to pre-book the shuttle at reception to ensure you have a seat.

From Amsterdam Holendrecht station

Where do i find the shuttle at HOLENDRECHT station???:
Take the south (ZUID) exit and walk down the stairs, turn right and right again.
Keep the bicycle parking on your right hand side and the newly build busstation on your left hand side. Walk down to the main road.
On your left you will see a small 3 car parking spot. This is where the shuttle will pick you up at the normal scheduled time. Don't take a public bus because it doesn't stops anywhere near Lucky Lake Hostel.

9:15 / 10:15 / 11:15 / 12:15 / 13:15 / 14:15 / 15:15 / 16:15 /17:15 / 18:15 / 19:15 / 19:45 / 20:15 / 21:15 / 21:45 / 22:15 / 23:15 / 00:15 / 01:00 / 01:30

* Depending on traffic, our shuttle may be a few minutes late.

The metro stops running around 00:15. To take the late shuttle at 01:00 or 01:30, you will need to take a TRAIN from Amsterdam Centraal station from the TRAIN PLATFORM. We provide a late night train schedule to our guests when they check in. Make sure you take the correct train that stops at Amsterdam Holendrecht as this can be tricky! Lucky Lake hostel cannot be held responsible if you take the wrong train and end up in Utrecht! :-)
